I haven't posted since before I left for Minneapolis this Memorial Weekend. I have lots to talk about how I had the best time there so far this year. But I am still in that "vacation" mode. I am sooo bummed out being back here in Dallas and back to my daily routine. The weekend just flew by.
I had the best of times. Got to see Tams and hang out with her. Miss ya! Jumped off a plane with Paresh (skydive video to be posted soon). Enjoyed the best jazz music ever at an underground basement at Artists' Quarters. Watched Fanaa. Visited St. Paul's Cathedral, which was litereally breath-taking. Drove around Lake Calhoun and those monstrous houses built around them. The weekend was a jump start from the get go....never a dull moment.
Even at home, Tams kicked my butt with Scorpion...without any mercy. She's really good. Watch out! And then I met Namrata as well, who like Tams, kicked my butt in Soul Caliber with her Raphael dude. I should go back to basics with Atari.
Will be posting pics and video soon. Be right back!

One more hour till I hit the road for the airport. Man I can't wait to get out of work right now. It's like that last day of school; Obligated to go when you know you aren't gonna study anything, so just want to get the hell out of there...
//One second thought strike: I must miss OOEHS...this is my second reference about school life in like 5 posts//
Anyhoos, more scrolls during or after the trip.

So went to the RP stand up and I must say, he did have new and fresh material and didn't play on his jokes that are heavily overcrowded on the net. His stuff was mostly improv and he tried to pick on almost all audiences in the first row. He's getting really good. As a matter of fact he's bagged a show on Comedy Central that's scheduled to air this August/September. He has DVDs coming out to which he was upfront letting the crowd (particulary desis) know that we've been cheap enuff to download his shit over the net. Now its time to buy his DVDs so that he can be the first south-asian comedian on the billboards. How honest. I support that.
I'll still download the free stuff of course...lol. Hey like he said.."It's in our blood to be cheap". Ok in all fairness, if his stuff looks good online, I don't mind getting his DVD.
I didn't just download the entire collection of "Mind Your Language" now, did I? I bought it...for just 18 bucks! Helluva deal..."a 1000 apologies"...still cracks me up.
Watched DaVinci Code over the weekend....after 2.5 hours of 'un'coding and gaining much knowledge about DaVinci style cryptology and a numb butt, all I have to say is "meh!"
Woke up at 6:30a for the first time in months, got to work a little early...now that I am a bit caught up and after having that oh so heavy lunch (chicken friand, tomato basil soup, iced tea, sacher chocolate pastry and coffee) *intentionally added menu items for a couple of drooling ones*, I now am so tired and feel so sleepy, I can't stand this anymore.
Ok, going for a walk around the cubicle jungle...

I am sure I'll have lots to talk abt it in my next scroll. In that time, have a glass of envy on the rocks, will you?

4:20PM - Almost there. Can't wait to get the hell out of here. It's just been a drag at work today. Thought I'd be coming in to finish the last 2 projects left to do before this week, but got dumped with other menial tasks...oh the sorrow of being a fresh IT boy...like 9th grade in high school. The white shirt slave...I am of course, in that blue shirt in the corner fetching 50fil chai and sandwiches for the bastards...hoping to one day blend with these seniors someday. Similar situation here...
Highlight of the day: Attending a 30 minute training session on how to operate a new phone system our company got installed..Ok, so this unit looks like a phone, its got numbers with buttons...I see there's the usual voicemail button, that "CONF" one on the bottom...assuming that's a Conference...unless, our Telecom folks think I have never really used a phone in my entire life and maybe its a button for downtimes, you know...Hit "conf" for confidence...oooh so magical. IT'S A FCUKING PHONE!!!
When was the last time anyone purchased a cordless and then stroll to Panasonic Headquarters for a training. Figure it out, you morons!...BEST PART: Ppl actually had questions..."While transferring a call, do I just dial and hit transfer once or twice?" I was baffled..that smartass smirk on my face so easy to notice...Needless to say, I walked out.
Bloody Hell!

Okay folks. I got this thing up and I got this thing running. This blogging thing is going to be very irregular..I am a reader really (not books, no...just other blogs), so typing stuff out even though it takes a minute or two a day for me is like measuring an area of a soccer stadium with a matchstick! But look what Mr. WiseAssTitleAndNoMaterial stumbled upon...Mobile Blogs! So this could be easy...just type your random thoughts on your cell and boom...posted. All that has to be done then is checking stats and responding to the comments of hoards of readers, which of course, I have to wake up from the dead first. I doubt there will be much typing here than mostly random pictures and articles, videos etc with a few comments and then of course, once in a while tantrums, rants, and surely those cutesy 'song/movie of the week' posts.
So let the drums roll and parade begin, because this, I must say, seems like an empty carnival, no?
Hmm...
