My latest gadget is here. Sleek black 4GB iPod nano. I couldn't wait to open up this baby. I was a kid in a candy store. Karla came over and was about to hand it to me and before she could I jumped and grabbed it out of her hands (I think that happened, but too excited to remember) with my eyes wide open and a smile from ear to ear. This was my own gift to me for my birthday.

Downloaded all 724 songs from my PC onto this thing and there's still room for more. At lunch time, I went to the mall and picked out the car stereo cable connector and was jamming to the music like I had never heard any of these mp3s before. This is awesome.
This post for Karla and Kevin - Thanks guys. Made my day!

1991: Rajiv Gandhi assassinated.
2006: Apology received.
They call themselves Tamil Tigers, and their "cheif negotiator" had this to say:
"I would say it is a great tragedy, a monumental historical tragedy for which we deeply regret and we call upon the government of India and people of India to be magnanimous to put the past behind."
Well there you have it. Height of insensitivity? Sure. Furthermore, these guys that blew him up have the audacity to come out an say India should be "actively involved in the peace process".
Somewhere George Bush is sitting back probably laughing saying.."Them red-dots should take advice from me. If Osama apologized for 9/11, I'd send Cheney to hunt him down and we'll call it an accident. I am the decider. Heh heh heh heh"

So this past weekend was my birthday and I turned 25..Feels like..25. Didn't really do much, but went for dinner at my aunt's place. I am so pampered there its not even funny. Got chai right when I entered the house, played with the kids, then came samosas and pakoras, watched SaReGaMa, more chai, then dinner, aloo parathas, cheese, and more chai, and fruit cake, which is almost becoming a tradition in the family. It was all good. Really good. Love the food considering I leave my pantry filled with just cereal and my refrigerator with water, coke, cheese and butter. I am still single...Its accepted!
Saturday:
Extremely fed up of crappy CD player I had in my car. It took like 8 minutes to play a 4 minute song (yes I tried different CDs), so hit the road and got a mediocre but good Sony CD player installed. The main reason I got this coz its got an AuX input and I am getting a sweet deal on a 4G iPod nano from a pregnant co-worker's hubby, who can get me cost+10%. So taking advantage of it. (See Tams, this is what pays off from helping all the preggers...they are extremely nice to me). But nah, these guys rock and I can't thank them enough.
Sunday:
Hit the road and went to Hawaiian Falls Water Park (went there last week too, can't remember why I didn't post that). It was nice to be around in the lazy river floating around for hours circling the park. Hit the fake beach with the waves thing, had nachos and chicken strips and stuff. It was really just a chill day. Then left the park and got some ice-cream from Baskins, and I haven't had that in a long time. So every bite of that cold scoop of chocoalte ice-cream on that waffle cone was worth it. Anyhoos, spent the rest of the evening with friends. At this point I am starting to itch really bad, and I am thinking its coz I haven't taken a shower yet and all that chlorine had taken its toll.
So I drive home itching my back and my shoulders all the way. I go up and take my shirt off to get in the shower and looked in the mirror. SON OF A BITCH!! I kept staring at my chest & shoulders and everything waist-up...I used to get blacker when I got a tan...this was really dark red...I was a burnt toast. Only I know the pain and the itchiness when I took a shower then....It hurt and stung. I am still red.

For those of you that don't know Jon Stewart, host of "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central, I recommend you watch it. This guy is highly hysterical and passes the most sarcastical humor about things, particularly the Bush Cabinet and the Republicans. He is a wise ass that the White House hates and goes head to head with dumbfounded loud obnoxious republicans like Bill O'Reilly and Mike Gallagher. I absolutely love this guy.
The video below is NOT from his show, but he was invited to speak on CNN's "Crossfire". They thought they were getting an interview, but na-uh-uh! This video is a little old (around the time when Kerry was running against Bush), but still that damn good.
Enjoy.
NOTE: The road to the White House starts this fall. Candidates will surface and rallies will be run. Again, I highly suggest you watch The Daily Show on Comedy Central, especially during this time.

Ok so I haven't posted in a while. I am sure more of that will happen. I hate to be like people who are always busy...but for the past few days I was one of them. Yes, I was the pissed off guy at work, mainly coz stuff out of the ordinary piled on and I was putting out fires to get back to my momentum, which is, the usual feet on desk, arms over my head starting at my pc screen and watching the co-workers pass me by. But NOT recently..NO!
The Noble One decided plant a STOP sign (which only my co-workers could see) for them to stop by my cubbie and ask for this and ask for that, and this app is not working, and need to kill processes to overhaul database, and get on the phone with so and so, and this error message pops up, and one person lost their margins (?) and then yelled "Oh my God! I don't know MS-Word", and that cow shouldn't be running on 635E...blah this blah that. Menial tasks I tell you...shifted my so called momentum right out of its orbit.
But nevertheless ppl...hold on to your knickers...I am back. Everything's back to normal and I can now chill - how do you think I am typing all of this right now?
Sports News: How do I put this? We lost to Miami Heat. Game 6. I still love the Mavericks. They are surely a better team than Miami, who just had Wade doing all the work and scoring the points. It was like Mavs vs Wade. But Oh well...Mavericks is now #2 in the NBA and I think it is just a learning process. Hopefully now that they know how it feels to be #2 and give the game away at home itself, they will go back and get better, get stronger. This team is just starting to show what they are made of and next year I think it will go full-throttle.
I say Congratulations to the Mavericks for giving it their best and going all out and fighting it with passion. Even though you guys lost, you did it with class.
Go Mavs!!
Oh and my previous post about the visits...I was stupid. I remembered that I had changed the template once without saving the first and in the process lost the counter. I bow down to all my "peeps" for thinking that...oh forget what I thought...you guys rock.

Friday:
Got to work at 9a, did my daily routine for the first 2 hours, then the transformer in the server room blew out, so all systems were down for about 3 hours. Needless to say...we were blessed. Went to Fuddruckers for lunch with co-workers. That took about 2 hours...got back to work only to read an email saying servers will go down again at 4PM...so everyone took off by 3P. This is what I call GOOD FRIDAY!
In the evening watched King Kong on Sayeed's projector and just goofed around.
Saturday:
Woke up at around noon, had lunch at P.Diddy's and went shopping for Maria's birthday present. Thanks to Seher, that was an easy task - Picked up a really cool looking vase.
In the evening, hit Palomino Restaurant for Maria's party. Had some good Parmesan Crusted Stuffed Chicken (mmm...mmm!) and then hung out with the crowd out in the patio for a while.
Sunday:
I got the Mavs groove on. I was psyched. Western Conference Champs and a couple of games away to win the Championship. I went to American Airlines Center to pick up a "Property of Mavericks" t-shirt (I told you, I got the groove on). The shirts they carry at WalMart and Target really suck . I had to get it from the store in downtown.
Wathced the game at Uncle and Aunty's. We hooked up the dish to the projector and had a wall filled with action packed Mavs kicking the hell out of Miami Heat. Shaq is really getting old. He shouldn't be calling himself Superman...what an insult!
Final Tally - Mavs 99/Heat 85 - Mavs lead 2-0
YEAH!! Go Mavs!

I am really glad Trumpmaster hired Sean as his Apprentice. I vouched for this guy from the very 1st show this season. This half-Arab half-Brit dude rocked the show. Lee was good too, and at 22 to be only remaining finalist of the 2, is really something. But even though he is grilled right, let's just say he doesn't have ummm....the seasoning?!
I have been wathcing The Apprentice since it's inception, and not once did I feel bored or dull. Kudos to Sean Yazbeck
Finally, I have my skydive video uploaded. I had to reduce the file size from 700MB to about 10MB, which has affected the quality level a little bit. But it still looks good. So here you go. I'll upload still pics soon.
Wait a minute to buffer after you hit "Play"

Woke up this afternoon at 12:30P. Called Dubai and spoke with my parents and Cookie for a bit. She will be coming on July 4th. That is going to be awesome. I have missed her growing up and sometimed feels like I have to get to know her all over again. There's only so much you can know about a person from listening and responding to their voice on a telephone, and more so, that persn being my li'l sis...my angel. I am excited that she's coming. Plans are running through my head already..maybe Six Flags, Palace of Wax, trip to MN, maybe Chicago, etc.
After I hung up with them, I was craving omellete. Thought I'd go to IHOP, but I wanted to blog this post as well..since I have no wireless at home, I thought I'd post from Main Street Cafe, which is where I am now. It's a good feel here. Artwork on walls, trendy breakfast/brunch/lunch place cornered at Shops at Legacy...plus they are playing Bally Sagoo albums. Listening to his Dil Kya Kare mix right now.
Its almost been a week since my trip back from MN, and although I want to post my skydive jump, stupid moviemaker shuts down on me every single time. I'll somehow figure that out and post the video soon. As far as listing things I have done in MN, I am just gonna refer you to P's blog. He's typed it out in there in detail and has pretty much said exactly what I would have, so here's the redirect.
Plans for today: Chill.
That's all I have for now. Catch ya later!
